Another tasty treat!

A few days ago I was writing an entry in Movable Type. I was going to schedule it to be published the next day. If you’ve done this, you know how easy it is to forget to add a leading zero, if necessary. I forget to do that constantly, and finally had enough. I wrote a plugin to help me through that, and do much more with the Entry Date field.

So, here we are with a new plugin: Hot Date. Hot Date provides a clickable calendar to select the day/month/year and drop-down selections to choose the time. Hours are displayed in 12-hour time—with an am/pm selector—rather than 24. Options are present to hide the seconds (who cares?), and to make minutes appear in 5-minute increments (does it matter if you publish at 8:53 or 8:55?). Also, a “refresh” button will update the date and time to current.

Download Hot_Date.zip. Hot Date is a free plugin, but a donation will support continued development. Suggested amount: $5.
Commercial Use: a $30 donation is encouraged.
