A classic, updated by our head chef!

The Better File Uploader plugin for Movable Type has been updated to version 1.08. This release fixes a small bug that’s been plaguing me for a while: sometimes—and only sometimes—the For Photo Gallery function wouldn’t work. I believe I have it beat now, though!

Installed Icon-o-Matic last week, and haven’t made any entries with photos since then, but tonight my Better File Uploader plugin is acting up. Everything goes fine until I hit the “popup image” button, and then a I get a server error page.

“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

I can’t identify anything that’s changed. I’ve uploaded the latest version (1.08) and double-checked file permissions on all associated files and directories.

This plugin conflicts with Movable Type’s ability to schedule/future publish entries. With a crontab running to run period tasks, this plugin gets in the way and disables the scheduling feature.
