Some exciting changes to our most-loved entree!

Better File Uploader 2.1 is here! Several new features have been incorporated:

• Place a watermark on uploaded images to keep your branding visible. Transparency is supported, and the watermark will be applied to the full-size image only, not the thumbnail image.
• Resize images during upload. This is a great feature for teams with editors who are not image-savvy—no more 8 megapixel jpegs when all you really want is an 800 × 600 image.
• Added a “URL only” processing option—which returns to you simply a bare URL, good for copying and pasting anywhere.
• Added localization support.
• Set options at the system level and they will be used as defaults at the blog level.

If you’ve already purchased Better File Uploader you can get version 2.1 by redownloading from the link you received in the purchase e-mail. (Alternatively, refer to the Helpdesk for help.) Or, purchase a copy of BFU2 now!

If you’re upgrading to version 2.1, note that the folder/file structure has changed considerably since 2.0. You can simply delete the existing files and upload 2.1—your settings will be retained.
