MT 3.3 and BigPAPI Plugins

As the restaurant decor is updated, some menu selections will be unavailable.

Just a heads up for anybody who’s installing the Movable Type 3.3 beta: BigPAPI-based plugins don’t work. Better File Uploader, Better Entry Preview, Smilies, and Icon-o-matic are BigPAPI-based, so won’t work with MT3.3. Updated versions will be forthcoming—in the near future, I hope; I’ll keep you updated.

Yeah, I read about the BigPapi plugin not working with MT3.3, but I have Icon-o-matic working just fine with BigPapi disabled. It surprised me.

I’m glad to hear Icon-o-matic appears to be working. Honestly, I haven’t even had opportunity to install 3.3 yet. emoticon_unhappy.png

I really appreciate your effort in creatng this plug-in, but wouldn’t the best place for this information be in the plug-in page itself (the one linked to from MT and the plug-in when installed)?

I’ve just spent the last 45 minutes fiddling with my (v3.32) installation’s permissions and your settings trying to get it to work before I stumbled on this page!
